American Motors: 1969 AMX 390 FUEL PUMP MECHANICAL WITH VACUUM WIPERS., vacuum lines, ecentric

Question
What is the correct way to remove and replace the
fuel pump on a 1969 390 AMX? Also how much Vacuum
is required to operate the wipers correctly?

Answer
Remove the fuel lines from the pump, remove the vacuum lines from the pump, remove the bolts then pull the pump away from the timing cover. Install in the reverse order making sure the arm of the pump is positioned under the ecentric.
I do not know the exact amount of vacuum required to operate the wipers. I imagine the pump creates anywhere from 10-20"hg of vacuum.
