American Motors: temp/fuel gauge, amc javelin, fuel gauge

Question
i have a 1969 amc javelin sst, the temp and fuel gauges used to work, now they don't, i ckecked all the fuses, all the wiring, im at a loss, have any ideas?

It is possibly the CVR, Constant Voltage Regulator mounted on the circuit board on the instrument cluster. Use a volt meter to measure for voltage in and out of the CVR.
