American Motors: Vapor Lock ?, oldsmobile pontiac, buick century

Question
I have a 1990 Buick Century with a 3300 v6 motor . i will drive about 25 miles and when i go to stop at a light or slow down , the car starts bucking and stales out.The Check engine light or anykind of warming light does not come on. I just had the fan motor replaced. i was not working ,  its working fine now , but there is no overheating or water and coolent coing out , in like 5 to 10 minutes its fine to drive again . but it seems to happen faster in the day when it hot , and i can get father at night when its cooler, before it happens any help would be a blessing im a disabled veteran i need to get to the va hospital on my own now :( thank you . mike

p.s i think its vapor lock and how would i fix it or have some one fix it ?

Answer
I am sorry Mike, I know nothing about Buicks, especially the later model ones. I answer questions about vehicles manufactured by American Motors Corporation, they never had fuel injection and check engine lights.
