1: The wiper motor is its own system.
2: The newer cars have the motor on the firewall whil older cars have it in multiple places, what kind of car do you have?
3: To move the wiper blades.
4: An electric motor would work by using electricity from the wiring harness to the motor to pwer the arms. The vaccum motors would have a switch attahced to a vaccum hose to function.
