American Motors: directionals, amc eagle, fuse box

Question
I had my amc eagle (1985) in the shop for a new master slave cylinder. I got it back and now i have no directional lights. I brought it to a different shop and they couldn't find the location of the flasher. Could you try to tell me where this part would be located. I would bring it back to the first guy but he never seems to be around. The second guy looked everywhere, on both the passenger and drivers side for this flasher but we don't know where it is. I would really like to get this fixed so I can drive my car again.

Answer
Sounds like someone swiped your flashers! THere are 2 on the driver's side. One may be on the fuse box, and the other under the headlight switch, above the ebrake. First make sure your 4 way flasher switch on the steering column is turned off. The button should be pulled out for off if I recall correctly (IIRC)
