Question
How can i listen o my iPod in my bmw stereo ?  also
what is the diference aux input or interface ?

please no FM wireless transmiters i purchase 4 none of them work
thank you

Answer
Most BMW radios from 1996 to 2012 come with an external CD changer in the trunk
or are prewire for the cd changer, there is a little disc in the trunk that shows prewire or bmw cd changer ,
you can use that cable to add and auxiliary audio input interface or ipod integration kit,
the aux interface allows you to input audio only no controls from the radio, you can add anything with a headphone jack or rca jacks, iPod iPhone mp3 satellite radio gps anything with audio,

the other option is to use the BMW ipod interface, this units will allow you to control your iPod iPhone using the BMW factory radio, you will see the name of the song album artist on the radio screen you can control the iPod iPhone using the BMW radio buttons and the steering wheel controls or the iPod buttons,  some of this iPod integration for bmw allow you to add Sirius radio or a second aux input, and some display text from your ipod in the middle of the dash cluster

this are not fm transmitter , stay away from anything with fm , they don't work on BMW radios because there is no antenna in the vehicle
