Hi Jerry,

Could you help me design a home stereo system?  I'm not really interested in a home theatre type system...just music.

I've got a huge digital music collection (almost a terrabyte), plus a pretty big CD collection.  I do like listening to the radio, also.

The system needs to drive at least four speakers (two indoor, two outdoor), maybe more.

In the ideal world, i'd like to use something like an IPAD or other tablet as a remote control/music selection device for the digital collection.  Is such a thing possible?

I'm sure you probably need more information--please let me know what else you need.

I sure can!
It will be very easy to do with the correct gear.

If you want to use an ipad (must be 2nd gen or newer), you need some 'airports' (little white wallwarts) with RCA outputs. Put one AirPort Express in each zone you intend on playing music at.
