Audio Systems: Broken Binding Post or Speaker Terminal Post, Binding Post

Question
When moving my Pioneer Elite Receiver model sc-09tx I stepped on a speaker wire which caused the banana plugs to bend and break the receivers external binding post right at the wiring hole. I have not been able to find a part name and number. I called a pioneer parts sales rep who is unable to identify the part. I did no internal damage cause there is a small bit of post left on the rear panel which I made contact via a clip to test that I can still receive sound through the speaker which I can. If I can replace the part is this a fix I can do?  I did not open the rear panel but it does seem easy to get to. Do you know the name and part number for these speaker out post? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Gerard

Answer
This model uses a pretty standard binding post. You can probably find one at Radio Shack:

If not Radio Shack, any good electronics parts store will have them or a reasonable substitute that will work.

Or, you can just connect a pigtail or anything that will give you a good ohmic connection.  No big deal so far as operation of the amp and getting power to the speaker.

Best wishes.
