Audio Systems: CD stuck in 2004 Chev Duramax, radio unit, factory cd

is there a trick to getting a cd out of the cd player in my 2004 chev duramax truck? Its the original factory cd player, was working fine yesterday, then music stopped, it switched to FM and now I cannot get the CD to eject. Thank you

You may have to replace the radio unit.  You can find replacements at;

But, try a reset by disconnecting total power from the radio unit for a few minutes to see if that will release.

You can google for ideas as there are many web advisories on getting out stuck cds.  In a worst case the player must be pulled out, covers removed and cd manually released.  In these cases often the mechanism will not work again and you are back to replacing the player/head unit.
