Audio Systems: car radio wiring, car radio wiring, delco radio

Question
I have what I believe to be a 1970 Camaro delco radio with a brown, white, green and blue wire on the wiring jack. Can you tell me how to wire this to my vehicle

Answer
It is quite old!  Read through this thread and look at the wiring diagram upper right corner for power wire connections.  This may help.

And this discussion may help since the wiring remained the same over several years, I  think:

In the worst case you may have to use an ohmmeter to trace the wires out one by one.  You can buy a simple ohmmeter at Walmart or Home Depot for under $10.  It can be used for most auto work projects. Once you find out where each wire goes, tag it with masking tape so you know where it is going.

You might also try crutchfield.com as they carry a very wide range of wiring harnesses for cars of all makes and models.  But this far back might be a problem to find.

Good Luck with your project.
