Audio Systems: factory cd changer, chrysler cd changer, chrysler radio repair

I have a 2001 chrysler sebring sedan. the factory 4 disk cd changer for some reason quit working. Now it just flashes all lights then 1 and 2 then 3 and 4 then all etc. I read your previous advice to a similar question. You said to remove it and remove any disks that might be in there and reinstall it and it would sometimes start working again.Is there any information on how to remove the unit?

sorry i don't have instructions, i just open it and try to see why it is stuck i open 4 or 5 Chrysler CD changers  and i only save 2 this 2 units didn't have light flashing
the lights its a power supply electronic problem , so its possible that the unit is defective and not stuck
if the unit is not working after you remove the disc most likely it will need repair from a service center the cd changer is made by alpine
or you can by a rebuild unit from here  Chrysler CD changer
