Audio Systems: 03 Silverado, chevrolet silverado output, silverado input

I have an 03 HD Silverado with the Bose stack 6 head unit in it. I'm looking to hook up an amp and subs to it. Does that head unit come w/ the patch cords in the back to run them straight or do I need to swap out head units?

No there are no rca jack on the back of the radio, and changing the head unit is not a good idea , you need the correct hi low interface made for your factory  silverado radio
this will also give you the remote turn on wire
