Answer
I think a "hard reset" will clear this problem; you can try it. (But read the PS comments below first).

However, before doing this, make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio. It comes with the car when new.  This code is necessary because when the power is removed the radio will not come back on unless the anti-theft or security code is re-entered.  That is why it is called an anti-theft or security code.  Without that code the radio will not come on.

The hard reset is accomplished by removing power from the entire stereo, entertainment system.  There are a couple of ways you can do it: 1) remove the main fuse which powers the stereo system. Or 2) remove one of the terminals from the car battery - which kills power to the entire car.

The power should be removed for at least 15 minutes in order to let the electronics inside the stereo system relax.

When the stereo powered up again it will ask for the security code to be entered in.

Consult your car's manual for any other advice.

Hope this helps.  Let me know if you need more.

PS:  I don't know where the factory reset button is on this radio but on many Japanese cars it is a small hole somewhere on the front panel of the radio and the reset is done by taking a paper clip, straighten it out and push the paper clip wire into the hole to operate the button on the inside of the front panel.  Maybe you should try this first and see if it helps.

PPS:  The ER2 error code is related to a cd jam and a "simple" reset can be made by turning off the stereo/radio system, turning it back on and pushing the eject button.  If it does not eject then the above "hard reset" procedures may be necessary. Also, sometimes  the eject button and power button must be pressed simultaneously.  Try that.
