QUESTION: you posted you installed a stero in a 1995 nissan sentra? well i don't know which combination of "blue, and pink" wires to use for my power. i can't get my stereo to work

ANSWER: Yes, you certainly must connect the proper 12v lines.

Above is a listing of the wiring chart.

The blue wire is the remote turn - on line and the pink is constant 12v connection.  Therefore, the blue wire goes to the ignition, for example, and will turn the radio ON and OFF when there is no power to the remote system of the radio.

Got it?  Best wishes.

QUESTION: sorry i didn't make my self clear. im not tslking sbout the harness that is assosiated with the deck. im talking about the harness on the car. the fellow who had the car before me cut all the quick connects off so i just have a big mess of wires. and there are 2 sets of blue and pink.

Answer
Answer remains the same.  You must get constant 12v to the amp and 12v switched to the remote turn on.  If you are in doubt about them, go to Walmart or Home Depot where you can purchase a little vom or voltmeter for around $10 and use it to check the voltages on those wires.  That is the best way; then you know what is going on.
