Audio Systems: car sterio wont work, chrysler, dodge

Question
I'm trying to install a new Pioneer stereo into a 97 Chrysler Concorde. When the old one was take out everything was working fine and proper. When installing the new one only the rear right speaker would work. Checked all the wires and connections to be right. Returned the stereo and got a different one. Same problem. All the wires are hooked up correctly but only the rear right speaker has sound. Please helpp!

Answer
radio is fine, the problem is that you have the infinity sound system, happens on dodge and Chrysler vehicle, there was a adapter years ago  but no longer available.
I believe oemautosound.com can make you a harness , this comes with 4 transformers in the middle
that way the signal matches the input of the infinity and they don't burn or go in protection mode

this is the reason besides that you have 6 speakers not 4

the factory radio output is 0.25 watts x 4  and the power comes from the infinity amplifier,
the new radio is 40 watts x 4 to much power for the amplifier and will burn it

bypassing the amplifier is not a good idea because the speakers are 1.5 ohms and the new radio can only play 4 ohms speakers, it will work for a few days and later burn the new radio outputs

you can remove the amplifiers and speakers and with new speakers it will be ok  or just contact oem auto sound and see if they can make you the harness

good luck
