Audio Systems: new sony head unit., sony head unit, sony cdx

I just installed a Sony CDX-GT250MP head unit in my car. It works fine when i sit in one spot but as soon as a accelerate it turns completely off. It turns right back on as soon as i come to a stop. what is causing this?

Hi,

From here with no information about the vehicle my best guess is that the headunit is mis-wired.
Be sure you are using the chassis of the vehicle for an aftermarket stereo ground. Do NOT presume that a factory black wire at the radio is a ground.
Follow the headunit manual for proper wiring.
