My car stereo is not playing CDs it keeps on saying disk error.. the radio use to work but now its very hard to pick up the radio stations.. maybe the antennae? but i would like to get my cd player working again.. can i buy any brand car stereo or is there a special brand for Chryslers? thank you

The above Crutchfield site allows you to select from a list of available products after you put in the qualifying facts about your car.  You do not have to purchase from Crutchfield, but if you do they will supply the wiring harness and installation instructions.

PS: Yes, the antenna system may need attention and the cd player has a laser diode inside that may be going bad - which is very common and too expensive to replace in most cases.  These are two separate problems and may not be DIY projects because of complexity in Chrysler vehicles and its age.
