Audio Systems: amplifier question, watt amp, watt subwoofer

Question
hi i am connecting a custom sound system with my original system in my 1999
Mazda b3000 troy lee edition. i would like to know if a 1500 watt amp can have
two 6.5 inch 210 watt speakers and a 10 inch 500 watt subwoofer to it or would
that consist of to many wires to be connected to an amp. thank you for your time

Answer
ONE:  It is a matter of impedance matching to the output of the amplifier.  If the amp you are using is capable of matching to the speakers and if you know how to configure them it would be okey.

TWO:  The 1500 watt amp may be drawing too much power from the electrical system of the pickup truck; this would require an addition of an oversize alternator or something to beef up the power delivery to the amplifier.

THREE: Power ratings on loudspeakers are meaningless figures; just ignore those ratings.  Important points are impedance, sensitivity and mechanical size for fitting into the box or mounting configuration of the vehicle.
