Audio Systems: speakers, watts rms, rockford fosgate

Question
I have 2 10" Orion hp10d2 speakers. What wattage amp will i need? and what amp will have them performing at their best?

Answer
Recommended RMS power will do just fine.
Two of these 1 Ohm boxes will need 750-1000 watts RMS Mono at 2 Ohms.

Here is a decent match for 400.00:

For 299.00 you can get one of these:

Something like one of these should provide years of sound if setup properly. Do some comparisons on such amps and you will be good to go, power-wise.

Wire the speakers boxes together in series for a 1 plus 1 (2 Ohm) load on the amp.
