All batteries (except for very custom made ones) have a number printed on them which represents the model.  You can find lithiums that are equivalents I am sure.

We must have the battery number to find the right size/shape, etc.

For example, here is a 3.7v, 500mah but it has a shape that may not fit your device:

And, you can find many others with that voltage and current capacity in shapes of all kinds.  Just start googling and you can find many; hopefully one that is what you are looking for.
