Audio Systems: Factory car stereo replacement, link ups, bose system

Question
Hi,
I have a 2003 Infiniti G-35 sedan with the factory clarion/bose in dash 6 disc changer. problem is i have replaced it 6 times. 3 under warranty and 3 out of pocket. Is there a company who makes a replacement which will still look and work as factory, steering wheel controls and all?

Answer
I don't know.  But, Crutchfield does.  They are really great with technical details for fitting aftermarket products in all cars.  They keep an up-to-date database for nearly every vehicle of the last 20 years.

Go to their site at:

www.crutchfield.com

and click on the "outfit my car" then go through the link ups for your year, make, model, etc. until you get to the end.

Also, you can call their hot-line and speak with one of their experts.

You don't have to purchase from them but if you do they will wend the essential wiring harnesses and installation instructions with the products.

It may be difficult to locate units that will interface with the steering wheel controls and meet the grade requirements you are looking for.

If you have the Bose system in your car expect to gut the entire thing as their system is non-conforming with most other car manufacturers.

Hope this will help.
