hey i have to install an aftermarket deck in my car i pulled out the other aftermarket deck it had in the their that was a pioneer. the one im wantin to put in is a jvc and best buy said they might have to hard wire what is that?

Answer
Usually that means the factory wires have been cut and you will need to pay them to wire the new deck directly to the factory wires.
Kind of funny since in the old days [before installation kits]..  every deck was hard wired.
Expect to pay about 50.00 for this service :/
