Audio Systems: 2003 Cavalier, car stereo wiring, stereo wiring diagram

I have a 2003 Chevy Cavalier and my back speaker is out and a wire is hanging down what do i need to do to get it working again.

Answer
If the wire is off the speaker it must be reconnected.  There may be a connector on the end that merely slides onto the connector of the speaker which is probably mounted on the deck behind the back seat.

If the wire has been broken off it must be soldered back onto the speaker or to its connector.  You should find someone who has soldering or electrical connection skills to do this so the connection is proper to the speaker unit.

It is possible the speaker has been damaged and needs replaced, but reconnect it first, then you will know.
