Audio Systems: Power Acoustic 5500 Class D Amp, amplifier output, music preference

Question
I just bought a power acoustic 5500 class D amp from a guy. I want to put it on 4 pioneer champion series subs(4 Ohms). I didn't get a bass remote with it, will I still get maximum power without the remote?

Answer
If I understand it correctly you have the mono block Power Acoustic which has power output like:
Amplifier Output Details   1700 Watt - 4 Ohm - 1 channel(s) ¦ 2500 Watt - 2 Ohm - 1 channel(s) ¦ 3200 Watt - 1 Ohm - 1 channel(s)

And, if you connect the subs in parallel you would have 4/4 = 1 ohm impedance for an output capability of 3200w.  Right?

You are in business if you connect the subs up correctly.

The  bass remote is a wired unit that merely gives you the opportunity of adjusting the input level up and down to give the power you want into the subs.  You can get all the power you want by getting more audio level into the amp.  You did not say what you would be driving it with so I cannot answer that, but you can always adjust the levels manually; the remote gives the ability to adjust it as you drive the vehicle and as the music preference changes.

Good Luck.
