Audio Systems: 2003 Z71 DELCO AM/FM/CD Aux Port, 2003 chevy z71, auxiliary input adapter

Question
Hello Roberto !

Sometimes i think i'm stupid !
I've just bought a 2003 Chevy Z71, in it i've an OEM DELCO Electronics AM/FM/CD Car Audio
i don't think it's the BOSE system, i've an amplifier behind the glove Box, seperate speakers (middle - tweeter) on each front, 1 speaker in each back door, 1 tweeter on each cargo pilar, and a subW in the cargo (no Bose striping nowhere, and all speakers made in mexico)

this car audio has an AUX button in the face plate just below the CD button but ...

I found nowhere something looks like an AUX PORT.

There is just 2 rectangular connectors in the back of the car Audio !

Could you help me ?
Is there an AUX port somewhere ?
What isd the use of this AUX Button ?

Thanks a lot by advance Ernesto
Regards.

Joe

Answer
Yes all chevy radios have the auxiliary audio input the problem is that the wiring and module is not in the vehicle, this port was there for the rear dvd system
and you can plug this into the 12 pin plug on the back of the radio
use this
