Audio Systems: Wireless headset hook up, sennheiser wireless headphones, headphone output

I have just purchased a Samsung 860 Plasma TV and hooked it up to a Denon AVR-790 Surround Receiver.  I also purchased Sennheiser wireless headphones (model RS160) that we would like to use but do not want to block all audio.  The instructions say that you should connect the wireless transmitter to the headphone jack of the receiver but that takes away all sound to other listeners.  I tried to connect the transmitter to the TV audio output jack but can't see to get any sound from the headphones.  What do you suggest.

My only suggestion would be to try using a mini to dual RCA cable (the type you'd use with an iPod), and try connecting the base unit to a set of auxiliary outputs on the back of the receiver.

If this even works, more than likely it'll be a much lower volume level, as a headphone output is "hotter" the a line level output.
