Audio Systems: Accessing Geometry screen for Sony KVM1400 TV, sony kv, m1400

Hi,

I am trying to access the geometry setting screen for my Sony KV M1400 trinitron TV but do not know the button sequence required to get the screen up, do you know a site or anyone who could supply me with the sequence?

Are you referring to the aspect ratio settings?  There is a button on the remote control - usually labeled "aspect ratio" - which will sequence the set through the screen sizes.

If you are referring to the control of picture geometry distortion you must enter into the service menu to adjust for hour glass, astigmatism, trapezoid effects, etc.  You can get into the service mode by referring to the service manual.  You can download the service manual parts at places like this:
