Audio Systems: problem with my radio, acura cars, fuse blocks

i have a 92 acura legend. i recently hooked up a sound system. it's not my first time doin this so i knew what i was doing. when i was hooking up the harness from the factory wires to the radio, i carelessly left a wire exposed and it touched something and now my radio wont come on. it's not the radio that fried. nor is it the radio fuse in my fuse box. i hooked everything up in another car and it all worked just fine. so i'm thinking i may have fried a wire internally. just wondering how i could check for this or who should i take it to and have it checked. thanks for listening

If you have $10 to spare do this: Go to Walmart or Home Depot and buy their little VOM.  Either one has a nice voltmeter function that will allow you to check the 12v lines in your installation to make sure the 12v constant and remote levels are there and that you have a good ground, etc.  

My suspicion is there is a hidden fuse somewhere in the car that you did not find.  In Acura cars there are two big fuse blocks. One under the hood and one under the dashboard between the steering column and the drivers door area.
