Audio Systems: Taurus 2005 CD Changer, taurus 2005, ford taurus

I am wanting to install a CD Changer in a 2005 Taurus.  The radio is factory standard with CD player and is capable of operating a remote CD Changer.  From what I have been able to find out the wiring for this CD Changer should be in the trunk however I can't find it.  Any hints on where I should be looking would be appreciated.  Is it possible that the radio is capable of remote CD changer but that it wasn't factory wired to the trunk?

ford Taurus was not prewire for a cd changer, the cable comes with the cd changer
don't look for the cable is not there
