Audio Systems: bose stereo system, nissan maxima, bose systems

My cd player stop working first about 1 year ago,  and now my radio stopped,  I have check the fuse on the driver side of the car there fine.  I have a 1996 nissan maxima it is a bose system

You will need service or replacement of the system.

Unfortunately, Bose systems are unconventional in design and many service shops cannot or will not attend to them.  

Probably, you will be better off replacing the system; at least unless you can find someone to look at it and see if it is an easy repair.  Since the cd player has been down for along time it would probably mean the entire electronics is not doing so well.  

Therefore,  I suggest you take the journey through www.crutchfield.com site of "outfit my car" and see the recommendations of head units and speakers that will fit into the Maxima.

PS: Having previously owned a Maxima with the Bose system and being an audio engineer I can strongly recommend you not to spend much $$$ on the Bose system. Once they fail they are better just replaced.  And, because of the odd design that Bose uses, the speakers, amps and head unit all must be replaced; Bose components are not interchangeable with the rest of the world's aftermarket products, sorry to say.
