QuestionQUESTION: Hello There!
I have a Chrysler Factory 6 Disc-MP3-WMA Player (Part# P05091523AK with Date Code:2295 , made in 2005 August. It was replaced with an aftermarket in a Dodge Charger and given to me to install in my Dodge van. I don't have the plugs (two actually have room on the back) and I don't know the pinout.
The pinout would be the most valuable, I installed earlier stereos with soldered wires on the pins. It's not the nicest way but it saves the the unit to end up on the junkpile. It would be a shame to trow out this unit.

ANSWER: I look everywhre and didn't find a picture of it i have the plug and it is best you buy one

QUESTION: Thanks for the info but if I have the connector I still need to know the pinout (the pins dedicated to what...). Beside that there are two connectors, the other one is a smaller one.
I even went to an Car Audio Install service and they give me no info. I don't believe it, it must be a secret they want to keep.
If I know somebody at Chrysler probably that would be the best choice but I don't.

ANSWER: LOL i work at fairway Chrysler dealer, now you know me, i still don't know the wiring
the only thing i can tell you is that , the big plug will be power and speakers,
small plug is for satellite radio and steering controls,
also look at the terminals inside the big plug the heavy contacts are power

QUESTION: Hello! It's good to know you work at Chrysler dealer. I might go to far but could you e-mail me the picture of the radio-wiring from the carmanual DVD? Because that suppose to show the pinout for the radio. I had worked for GM long ago, using the books and I remember for that kind of pages.
Otherwise, your info about the small connector is perfect, I don't need to worry about. Thanks for that.
I would be sad to scrap this almost new unit.

Answerwe don't have that info it tell us what wiring system works on the radios
and it start from the vehicle model then we have the audio options and plugs and them plugs for the dvd or satellite radio but there is no pin by pin plugs
on the wiring manual it shows individual wiring but not the radio possition
just buy a harness and save time
