I have a speaker box with 2 12" speakers in it.would you suggest i bridge with an amplifier (150 watts), or connect each speaker up to its own channel?

Answer
You must know the impedance of the speakers and the impedance rating of the amplifier.  Impedance must be matched for maximum power transfer from amp to speaker.  And, it must be matched for optimum loading so as not to overload the amp and cause it to fail prematurely.  Finally, you must know if the subs are dual or single voice coil and how they are wired inside the box.
