Audio Systems: Samsung TV, Bose GS 321, and Cable Bx HDMI, bose gs 321, bose system

Question
I recently bot a Samsung LCD with 4 HDMI ports.  I have the cable box using one of the hdmi ports, and the bose using another.

I want to use the Bose for the audio when watching cable.  I have figured out how to do this using the RCA Out from the TV to the Bose, But it seems like I should be able to route the sound back to the Bose via the HDMI.

I can not see a way to specify where the audio out would come from on the TV.  I assume audio is coming out of both the RCA and Optical jacks, but not specific HDMI ports.

Have you come across this issue before?
Thanks

Answer
I don't think i've ever seen an HDMI out, which really isn't necessary.  HDMI carries audio and video and since you're bose only handles you're audio there is no need for you to send video to it.  You have it hooked up correctly w/the audio out going to the bose system.  i would however suggest using the optical output.  Assuming you're bose is a surround system this is the only way to get true surrond.
