Audio Systems: 2002 Ford Taurus & Sirius Tape converter, ford taurus, tape converter

I have a 2002 ford Taurus and i am using the tape to receive Sirius. For some reason, the tape will eject after several minutes of playing. This morning the tape player ran for 30 mins before ejecting the tape. Is this a common? If there is a problem with the tape player is there a cd converter (the car has a six disc cd player in between the driver and passenger sit - under the arm rest). Thanks in advance!!

the radio was made to play music tapes only they are 45 minutes 22 per side  
that is why ford void the radio warranty if you use the 90 or 120 minutes tape
so there is nthing wrong with your radio

but you need to use something better, this plugs into the cd changer
