Audio Systems: Infinity Perfect 6.1, infinity kappa, ohm load

Question
I am looking to buy a pair of Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1.  The only problem I am having is the 3 ohm impendance.  I don't know what kind of amp I will need either.  I would also like to know would their be any difference in the way you wire them since they are 3 ohm.  I am thinking about getting the Hifonics TXi 6008. Will this amp work, and if so how would I wire it?

Thanks

Answer
Well, the published specs on thee Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 shows they are 4 ohms. So, as long as you drive them with an amp rated for a 4 ohm load or less you will be just fine.

The Hifonics TXi 6008 should drive them just fine; it is stable for down to a 2 ohm load.

You can find the wiring for them by going to the examples at www.crutchfield.com:

Just choose the configuration that fits your case.
