Audio Systems: monoblock amp install, dual voice coils, monoblock amp

Im installing 2-12" MTX subs to a Jensen monoblock amp 2ohm cap. but I cant figure out how to wire up the speakers, the amp is a 5 channel. can u help? THANKS.

I am confused; you say the Jensen amp is a monoblock (one channel) and then you say the amp is a 5 channel. Which is it?  Can you give me model numbers? Then I can look up the specs on the amp and speakers.

You must determine if the subs are single or dual voice coils and their impedance per coil.  Then, you must have a crossover available either within the amp or externally, then you must decide the hookup based on these parameters.

Wiring is shown for all configurations by selecting the system you are going with at the crutchfield site:

Choose from the options given on that page; diagrams are good to show you how to proceed.

But, if you need more help, give me all the model numbers so I know what is going on.
