Audio Systems: what size amp for my speakers?, exact model number, kicker speakers

Question
hi i just purchased a custom box with six 6x9 kicker speakers, that im going to mount on the wakeboard tower of my boat. im gonna use a amp to run them, what size amp should i use. thanks

Answer
I would imagine a 50 watt RMS per channel stereo amplifier would provide ample output, but if you really want to get them as loud as possible (which is an understandable situation in or around a boat) you should use their recommended Kicker RMS power rating.
The Kicker speakers should have model numbers on them.
Get that number and do a google search for it.
Example:  "kicker 'model number' 6x9 RMS wattage"
or go to www.Kicker.com and look for their specific specifications there.
*You may need to remove one speaker to find the model number. :/
These speakers may be 'bi-ampable' meaning that a four channel amp may be best.

If you can tell me the exact model number, I would be happy to do all of the legwork for you.
