Audio Systems: what box should i get for two alpine type r 12s, alpine type r subwoofers, alpine type r 12

the subject is self explanatory but ill go into detail i have two alpine type r subwoofers 12" with a jl audio 1000/1v2 amplifier and a pioneer avic-n4 head unit im looking to get loud and be heard from a few blocks away but also have sound quality what type of box should i buy for this?

I am not sure which models you have (2 or 4 ohm coils...SWR-1222D  or  SWR-1242D) but you will need a local shop build you one specifically for these and in accordance with these Alpine loading specifications:

Both models of the R-12 allow for sealed or vented designs. Expect similar performance from either type of box but the vented ones will need about two times the air volume of sealed boxes.

Be prepared to pay about 10-15 dollars per inch of speaker diameter for a custom enclosure (125.00 -160.00 on average).
Also, be sure to make the shop owner show you some of their work AND let you listen to it before you lay down your money on them.
