Audio Systems: best way to wire 4 kicker L7 -4ohm woofers, L7 array impedance Kicker DVC

Question
how can I wire theses woofers to a kicker 1200watts mono amp and get the best results?

Answer
Here is an image showing esactly how to wire them in pairs.

Use the diagram at the top left for each pair of L7's. In this scenario, each set of L7 speakers would equal 2 Ohms.
Then, you hook the two 'sets' together (at the amp) to bring it on down to 1 Ohm. This will send about 300 watts RMS to each speaker and about 150 to each voice coil.
The speaker wiring to the two sets can come from the amp or one of the speakers' terminals. Having two wires in each of the amps' speaker outputs is probably the easiest to deal with if you are new to this. Then, you just do what the diagram says to both sets and hook both pairs to the amp (again, that is two wires on each amp terminal). Remember that proper speaker phase is paramount when doing successful speaker arrays.
Powering the second array from a speakers' terminals can work just as well but is more tricky to do the 1st time since you can do this type of 'tap' many ways.
I advise to you keep it simple this time.

Do not be afraid to email kicker support about it.

The amp will produce maximum RMS power at 1 Ohm, so that will be the minimum impedance the entire four speaker array can safely load the amp with. It could also be a 'goal' if maximum SPL/RMS is an issue.

I hope this helps you though the wiring part!
