Audio Systems: utoc writing disc wont eject, tascam md, ac plug

Question
I have a tascam md-350 player recorder and I had erased a few tracks from the disc and then tried to eject disc it read utoc writing for quite sometime and then briefly displays rec error!! the disc would not come out I then erased all the data to see if that would let the disc free but the same thing happened please can you help I have already had the player/recorder sent away for repair I am becoming very frustrated with it..Please can you help?

Try re-booing the Tascam by disconnecting the AC plug for about 30 seconds.

MD's are not being used anymore because the mechanism is greatly effected by changes in temperature and humidity. I had two pro MD players myself that I had to put out to pasture because the repair cost was was more than replacing the units with CD burners. Now the iPod has made MDs virtually obsolete.
