Audio Systems: dvc/svc, ohm subs, 4 ohms

Question
is there any inherent problem with mixing svc and dvc subs on the same amp? i have a 1200W performance teknique 2 channel amp, 2 10" cvr dvc 4 ohm subs and one 12" infinity svc 4 ohm subwoofer. is there any way to hook this up with these parts

Answer
Certainly. you can connect them just about anyway you wish.

If the two dvc units are hooked in series and the dual coils in parallel and connected to one of the channels that will give you a 4 ohm load.  If the 12" infinity is connected to the other channel it will load at 4 ohms; thus giving you a 4 ohm load on each channel.

As an alternate, if the amplifier is bridgeable you can put the above two channel connections in parallel which would give you a 2 ohm load and connect to the bridged amp for more power into the speakers - if you need to do so.

If it is not clear, ask further questions to me.

Here is a little tutorial on connecting speakers to amplifiers that will help you get the idea.
