QUESTION: It is an eaw jf80 for pro audio applications. I looked on the web site and no mention of RMS or peak. With it being eaw I would believe RMS. Also full range. Thank you

Answer
I needed to ask. Many times I get consumer questions so I needed to qualify it. EAW's ratings are RMS usually at 1K. You don't want to underpower the JF series as you will quickly fatigue the low frequency driver. You should be looking at an amplifier rated at about 500W per channel if you are driving a single speaker. If you parallel another jf80 you will need more power. EAW will recommend Crown. I recommend QSC. Crest will work. Try to go for cleaner power and don't use the cheaper models if you don't have to. These of course are not the only amplifiers that will work. They are just the most widely used.
