Audio Systems: re-wiring Pyramid speakers, led circuits, crossover design

Question
I have a pair of Pyramid Gold Series 44LED 200 watt surface mount box speakers! Some one had taken them apart and cut the wireing inside thy have a woofer a mid range, and atweeter i'm assuming thats what they are called they also have a small circuit board with the LED lights on it,it also has places for 4 wires to be soildered they are lettered with the letters WS ,RS, RL, and HI! I would like to keep the lights but it is not a must some help with where the wires go would be greatly appreceiated!

Answer
You will have to obtain the original crossover design as they are uniquely made for the specific system.  There are no generic crossovers for speaker systems.

OK. I just pulled this unit up.  It is a small, inexpensive pair of low power stereo speakers for medium power use.  Power ratings on loudspeakers really don't mean much. I assure you if you were to put the full 200 watts of audio power in to them they wouldn't last more than a few seconds.  The LED lights are to indicate power level going into them - primarily to fool the user into thinking they are handling lots of power but are really to keep too much power from getting into them and burning them up.

If the electronic crossover and LED circuits have been pulled out it will cost you more than the cost of a new pair ($39.95) to rebuild the circuits.

The above URL will show you where you can buy a new pair.

I just found another pair for even less:

I am sorry to be so pessimistic, but the ones you have are really not worth putting any effort into refurbishing.  I would just buy another, new pair for $25.00.

The company does not have support on their web page and I don't think their products are intended for professional users, unfortunately.

Above is the home page for them.

Good Luck,

PS: If I could see the speakers or if you could send me a good, high resolution photo I could tell you where the wires go, but without knowing more about them it is impossible.
