Audio Systems: Multiple Receiver Spkr connections, application engineer, speaker selector

Question
Hello, I have 3 vintage receivers and 4 speakers. I would like to know if there is a selector or switch that would allow me to connect the 3 receivers to the same set of 4 speakers and use the selector to choose which receiver is delivering power to the speakers? I have a speaker selector that allows 3 speaker sets to be connected to one sound source, but does it work the other way around?

Answer
No consumer device is made to switch more than 2 power sources while impedance matching. You would have to use multiple products to accomplish this. My best recommendation is to contact an application engineer at Niles corporation and tell him what you want to do. They make a two amplifier source switch and impedance matching devices. They can probably tell you what the necessary hardware is as well as make you a wiring diagram do accomplish this.
