Audio Systems: interference with new pro audio system, live sound reinforcement, microsoft office package

Question
We just installed an audio system in our Youth Room of our church...We spent about 50K on amps, conditioners, signal processors etc.
When i turn the system on and plug in a guitar processor (digitech gnx4)straight into the mixer via two balanced outputs or 1/4 inch into a direct box i get this very strong digital sounding rapid fire beeping.
The same thing happens to our guitar/bass amplifiers. I've shut down the entire system at the breaker box and still have the signal in our amps.
When i plug my amp in downstairs via extension cord and begin to walk it upstairs about 1/2 way up the signal begins and gets stronger as I continue to climb the stairs.
Seems like it's coming from an outside source. Everybody's stumped...I'm totally frustrated.
Sometimes it just goes away an is totally fine...
any ideas?
Thanks
matt

Answer
Your information is incomplete. You would do much better if you can make a drawing in a CADD program (it could be as simple as something in the Microsoft office package). Send me a pdf. In the drawing, make it a functional diagram showing any I/O to sound board & processing as well as MI gear and distributed audio. If you email me at robert@earnetworks.com I can send you an example of a live sound reinforcement head end diagram.
