Audio Systems: radio, radio unit, model number

i put in the code too many times without knowing how to lock it in and the radio locked me out

Do you have the correct code for the radio?

If you do, you must do a reset and wait for 1/2 hour or so to cleanse the old history out of its memory.

Look up in your owners manual how to do a reset. If you do not have the manual go to the manufacturers web page and look for it under support.

If you know how to remove power from the radio unit you can also do it that way; just disconnect power from the radio and let it stay without power for 1/2 hour or more.

Let me know if you don't succeed but I will need to know the make and model number.
