Audio Systems: 2008 Dodge Caliber sxt, dodge caliber, dodge chrysler

Hey, i recently bought my car from a dealership and it had the better version of a factory system in it. Which includes 8 speakers and the 8` sub in the back. All in which of the name brand of Boston Acoustic. I wanted to install a aftermarket deck into my car but they ask way too much money, i think the total was around $600. A friend of mine told me to buy the rca outputs for factory decks to have my amp to hook up to. If so possible, how do you install it? I do know how to install aftermarket cd players but not snipin around with a factory deck. Can you help?

what you are trying to do is not possible, there is data  on the wires to the factory amplifier
peripheral is working on a interface to do this but still not available
