Audio Systems: 2000 Cadillac Deville, cadillac deville, radio location

Mr. Ruesta, I was hoping you could clear up a few questions I have.  I have a 2000 Cadillac Deville, with Bose I believe, it is only a cassette player, and I would like an aftermarket cd player, and as far as I have seen and heard they do not make a wiring harness or installation kit for an aftermarket cd player.  Do you know if this is true? I thought about just splicing into the factory harness but I brought it to a car audio store for them to look at and they said I would have to run all new wire and new speakers, something to do with the Bose, and a different type of wires out of the cd player. I would really like to put in an aftermarket deck, is there anything I can do besides the new speakers and wiring? Your help is greatly appreciated.

If you cut all the wires at the radio location and install the new radio using this interface
you will keep the factory bose amplifiers and speakers
