Audio Systems: no am reception after installing skyfi2, fm modulator, auxiliary input

Question
I have a 2007 Expedition with factory head unit. Installed xm radio using sure connect. The antenna is in the side glass in the rear. I have no am reception now. xm and fm reception is great. What happened?

Answer
some times the antenna adapter block the signal from the window  lines

also there is a small amplifier before the window sometimes this gets damage because of the fm modulator of the portable device

if you have a AUX button is best to wire it direct in to the back of the radio
