Audio Systems: no audio sounds, factory radio, lincoln continental

I have a 1996 lincoln continental and I have the factory radio which is a JBL, I'm not receiving any sounds from it.  I can't get anything to show up on the display face.  I have had all the fuses check and they are good.  I no that the radio is in the trunk by the spare tire and that up front is just the tape player, but I'm not receiving anything, can you please help me now.

Usually trhe first thing to check is the wiring.  But, since you get nothing on the display, I would suspect the main unit having a problem.  With little to go on here, I would suggest that you remove the main unit and have it checked.  Any servicer should be able to connect it on a bench and verify that it is working correctly.  With that info in hand, trace all of the wires to make sure they are in good condition.
